Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support to resolve routine technical problems at both an application and infrastructure level in a multi-tenant data center.
• Triage and escalate more complex problems to Tier 3 support.
• Assist in leading and coordinating response / resolution efforts for complex system problem / outages until Outage Coordinator duties are assumed by senior Incident Management personnel.
• Ensure that timely and accurate notifications are provided on an ongoing basis to designated management and staff.
• Create, modify, administer and troubleshoot basic automation tasks / job packages with automation software.
• Interface with local Systems Manager, System Administrator, Project Manager and jurisdictional staff as appropriate during projects.
• Provide, and maintain ongoing operational procedural documentation for L2.
• Review database, web, server & network utilization reports to produce Operational metrics and process recommendations.
• Work with Product Development teams and architects regarding planning and deployment strategies on new technologies.
• Make recommendations regarding improved operating systems and procedures.
• Performs audit management tasks (user logs, password changes, change control etc.).
• Think outside the box and come up with improvement and efficiency opportunities to streamline business and operational workflows.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
