Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION'S ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

The heavy equipment Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for all repairs and services associated with the heavy equipment. Mechanic will be responsible for assisting service oilers to perform PM's and any other related job duties as assigned.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Applicants for this position must have prior experience and / or knowledge of tasks associated with repairs and servicing of dozers, haulers, blades, scrapers, loaders, pickups, trucks and other light vehicles and maintenance of diesel equipment. Applicants must have the skills required to perform the above duties on a multi-shift operation. Two year diesel technology degree preferred or equivalent experience.

• Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company standards to ensure insurability.
• Pre-employment screenings, including physicals, drug screening, and background checks, will be conducted on all candidates receiving a conditional offer.
