Lead Director, Strategic Workforce Partner

The Lead Director, Strategic Workforce Partner, reports to the AVP, Strategic Workforce Planning and will partner with business groups to assess, design and develop a multi-year strategic workforce plan to ensure CVS Health has the appropriate mix of talent to drive growth and mitigate risks. Leveraging insights from industry trends, labor market conditions and the dynamic business landscape, this leader is accountable for forecasting future workforce needs, identifying critical capabilities, and leading the development of talent solutions to attract, engage and retain top talent across critical colleague populations essential to advancing our business strategy.
This role will be responsible to :
- Partner with key stakeholders, including senior executives, to understand near- and long-term business objectives and assess current and projected outlook for the business.
- Develop strategic workforce plans to ensure the business has the right talent with the requisite skills and capabilities required to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Utilize data driven insights and trends to proactively mitigate people-related risks through action planning.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify labor trends, forecast future talent needs and competition, identify skills gaps, and make informed decisions on workforce solutions aligned to organizational goals.
- Create and deliver reports and presentations to communicate key insights, recommendations and progress to the business and HR leaders.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to support adaptable organization and talent metrics to align behaviors with leadership expectations and drives business outcomes.
- Partner with the business and HR to design nimble resourcing solutions that attract and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Collaborate with Talent Development and business leaders to create innovative training and development solutions to enhance skills and capabilities aligned with organizational needs.
- Effectively partner on the communication and change management of workforce plans to key stakeholders and colleagues.
Required Qualifications :
10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience5+ years as a strategic HR leader3+ years Workforce PlanningExperience gathering data, analyzing issues, identifying root cause and addressing opportunities related to a diverse and dynamic slate of business challengesWillingness to travel (up to 15%) based on business needs; including air plane travelPreferred Qualifications :
