Moses Lake is a city in Grant County, Washington with a population of approximately 20,000. Moses Lake is the largest city in Grant County. The city anchors the Moses Lake Micropolitan area, which includes all of Grant County and is part of the Moses Lake-Othello combined statistical area.
Moses Lake, on which the city lies, is made up of three main arms over 18 miles (29 km) long and up to one mile (1.6 km) wide. It is the largest natural body of fresh water in Grant County and has over 120 miles (190 km) of shoreline covering 6,500 acres. Before it was dammed in the early 1900s and then incorporated into the Columbia Basin Project, Moses Lake was a smaller shallow lake. To the south of the town is the Potholes Reservoir and the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge that has a number of seep lakes and vast amounts of migratory birds and other fauna natural to the area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to) :
- Provide a full range of dental care services to financially disadvantaged youth, ranging from 16 to 24 years in age.
- Provide dental care services for all students on Center, in accordance with applicable Federal laws / regulations, OSHA and HIPAA requirements, state and local laws, and guidelines of the American Dental Association.
- Provide an elective oral examination, including bitewing x-rays, priority classification, and treatment plan, shall be completed and recorded on the Job Corps approved oral examination form, upon student request.
- Perform dental procedures to treat oral disease and correct oral health conditions that may represent employability barriers, to include restorations, extraction of pathological teeth, root canal therapy on anterior / other strategic teeth, replacement of missing upper anterior teeth with a removable prosthesis, and dental hygiene treatment for periodontal disease, upon approval from center personnel.
- Provide perform various preventive measures such as conducting extensive prophylaxis treatment, performing deep scaling and root planning and conducting group oral health counseling, tobacco cessation counseling, and diet counseling.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Provide student services in such a manner to obtain positive student satisfaction survey results as determined by Job Corps.
- Provide treat common dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative or preventive measures such as single and multiple teeth extractions and restoration of simple and compound cavities.
Requirements :
Must have a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an approved ADA or CODA school.Registered Dentist, licensed in the state of WashingtonActive, unrestricted license to practice as an independent practitionerMedical liability insurance ($1 mil per occurrence / 3 mil aggregate)Period of Performance : June 15, 2021-May 31, 2026 (5-year contract)
