Setting Acute Care Hospital (360 beds), Level II Trauma

Job Details & Day-to-Day

This is a combined Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist role (IR experience is a HARD STOP requirement). The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with a strict no-nicotine policy for all travelers.

Caseload / Ratio : 8-12 cases per day.

Core Cath Lab Procedures : Elective Caths (Diagnostic & Interventional), STEMI call, RHC, Cardiac Stent Placement, Temporary Pacemakers, IABP, and Electrophysiology (EP) studies (AICDs / Pacemakers).

IR Procedures : Must be able to work in IR. Neuro intervention experience would be a plus.

Procedural Role : Must be able to Scrub and maintain a sterile field.

Call Required : Yes, approximately 7-10 days per month. Weekend call is 1 full weekend per month.

Response Time : Must respond to STEMI Call within 30 minutes of activation.

Charting System : Cerner, McKesson.

Patient Age Groups : Adults, Geriatrics (and Adolescents for certain diagnoses).

Vaccination Note : COVID-19 Vaccine is Required (No Exemptions).
