Sous Chef

• Work alongside a classically trained chef with 20+ years of experience, including some of the finer dining establishments around Columbus and various parts of the world.
• Collaborate with Chef to plan and prepare a weekly menu that caters to food allergies and intolerances while maintaining a 100% gluten-free kitchen Manage administrative duties of the kitchen - including, but not limited to vendor relations, ordering of products, and maintaining financial records / receipts.
• Ensure the kitchen is prepared to scale as the company continues to grow  Assist with all events hosted at AndHealth - some may be after hours or weekends.
• Maintain appropriate cleaning schedules for the kitchen and all food storage areas.
• Create delicious food alongside a high-energy team with a sincere desire to delight.
• Prepare a broad menu from scratch using classic and modern cooking techniques, tools, and machinery.
• Prepare leftovers for ‘grab-n-go’ dinners for staff that work late.
• Be aware of and monitor CCP (Critical Control Points) on food temperature and refrigeration.
• Ensure all kitchen staff are up to date with ServSafe Certifications (and any other food handling certifications we deem necessary) Assist the Chef in activities that ensure that equipment and dishes are cleaned, sanitized and ready to prepare and serve food.

Participate in maintaining inventory levels, including food and non-food items in dry storage, refrigerated fresh foods and frozen foods.   About you :
