Job Title : Assistant Branch Manager Job Description :

Summary :

As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring adherence to bank policies and procedures. You will lead and inspire branch personnel, including tellers and financial services representatives, fostering an environment of engagement and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervise daily operations of new account desks and teller / service areas.
  • Coach associates, create schedules, and address service breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor branch staff performance related to cross-selling and referral goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer concerns and escalate issues to the Branch Manager as needed.
  • Assist in recruiting and training branch staff.
  • Complete new accounts and teller activities as required.
  • Take on special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Conduct quarterly assessments to ensure compliance with audit guidelines and security standards.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% to support other local branches.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities :

  • Assist in supervising branch staff.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of banking experience required.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Experience in a goal-oriented environment preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Computer and Software Skills :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, IBS, and Salesforce.
  • Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations :

  • Notary License where applicable.
  • Compensation :

    Salary Range : $25.25 - $31.57 per hour, based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.
