Job Description

As a Senior Formwork Designer at Doka USA, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of formwork systems for construction projects. Leveraging your expertise in formwork design principles, structural engineering, and CAD software, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective formwork solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations. This role will be an in-person role based out of our Kenilworth, NJ, branch and will report to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of formwork systems for a wide range of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
• Conduct comprehensive structural analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of designs, considering factors such as load capacity, stability, and material specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create detailed formwork drawings, plans, and schematics, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and drafters, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in formwork technology, and regulatory changes, incorporating best practices into design processes and methodologies.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations, communicating design concepts, progress updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing design processes, enhancing product quality, and maximizing efficiency.

In accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws, Doka USA Ltd. is committed to providing a clear and equitable compensation structure. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually, which is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This range represents the base pay for the position and does not include potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or other forms of compensation. Final compensation will be determined at the time of offer and in accordance with internal equity and market data
