Job Title : Cultivation Technician I

Department : Cultivation

Reports to : Cultivation Supervisor or Team Lead

Role Summary

The Cultivation Technician 1 provides manual labor to support the operations within the Cultivation department, while abiding by laws, rules, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. The Cultivation Technician 1 position will primarily support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance tasks and sanitation responsibilities. In addition, as determined by business need, Cultivation Technician 1s may be flexed to provide support in veg, mom, and propagation.

Responsibilities

• Physical, repetitive agricultural work, follow directions and take instructions from supervisors.
• Repetitive climbing on a ladder or working on an elevated platform.
• Netting and Trellis flower plants.
• Loading plants and placing emitters.
• Tucking and spreading plants as directed.
• Pruning and defoliating plants.
• Proper Use of PPE in accordance with company guidelines.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once plant maintenance is completed
• Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room tools and equipment upon use
• Perform various manual cross-department job duties as needed
• Secondary but essential job functions
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available after hours if an emergency situation should arise.
