LOCATION : Merrett Island, Florida (Hybrid : 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

JOB STATUS : Full Time

CLEARANCE : Active DoD Secret (TS / SCI preferred)

SALARY : $130,000 to $210,000

We are seeking an experienced Launch Site Systems Engineer to join our team at Cape Canaveral, FL (onsite) . In this role, you'll provide direct support to the U.S. Space Force Launch Vehicle Mission Assurance team , ensuring the continued success of National Security Space Launch (NSSL) missions . This position offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with launch operations, vehicle systems, and mission assurance activities—directly impacting Assured Access to Space (AATS).

Required Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.
• 12+ years of experience as a systems engineer, technical project manager, or related field.
• 4+ years of DoD or launch / range experience.
• Flexibility to support launch vehicle operations, testing, and mission support during non-standard hours / days, often across multiple attempts.
• Familiarity with Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) facilities, providers, and operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Physical Requirements
• Remain stationary for extended periods (up to 50%).
• Move within an office environment to access files, equipment, and workspaces.
• Operate a computer and office equipment daily.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers—including presenting technical information clearly and accurately.
