We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and facilitating debt repayment processes, advising customers on necessary actions, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will also play a vital part in special projects and audits.

Responsibilities

• Collect accounts receivable and establish repayment schedules based on customers' financial situations.
• Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
• Document customer contact and status of collections efforts.
• Facilitate payments by resolving customer issues.
• Assist with audits and special projects as necessary.
• Maintain the master receivable information database.
• Send monthly customer statements.

Work Environment

This is a 6-12 month contract role due to the current AR Specialist's retirement. You will be part of a small team consisting of a Controller, and Accounts Payable and Receivable staff. The company is undergoing an SAP S4 / HANA implementation and offers a hybrid work schedule from Tuesday to Thursday. Dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Schenectady, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 / hr.
