About the Position :
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team of remarkably skilled and caring professionals. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and exceedingly skilled professional, passionate about patient care, who takes the time to provide a personal approach to hygiene appointments and works collaboratively and kindly with a team of other dedicated professionals.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work individually with patients, spending two hours with new patients and newly diagnosed periodontal patients, and one hour with returning patients. This allows you to build strong relationships and provide a personalized dental hygiene experience! We don't condense or accelerate appointments to meet impersonal quotas disguised as "goals".

Responsibilities
Making patients feel at ease and well-cared for before, during, and after their visitDental radiology and intraoral images of the patients' teeth to help dentists diagnose oral health issues (full oral cavity digital model scanning coming soon)Scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, prophylaxis, fluoride application, sealant application, hygiene laser services, room setup & teardown, instrument sterilization and maintenance, scheduling appointments, etc.Inform patients of all ages about how to care for their teeth by brushing and flossing on a regular basisWorking with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for both dental hygiene and restorative needAppropriate and thorough diagnosis of periodontal diseaseCalling patients to fill your schedule in the event of no-shows or unfilled cancellationsApproaching work with a positive, collaborative, growth mindsetQualifications
Positive attitudes, collaborative problem-solving skills, professional and kind communication stylesRegistered Dental Hygienist (RDH) licensure, valid in the state of ColoradoDental hygiene laser certification and experience ( preferred -or- we'll pay for laser certification !)Current BLS certificate / cardTop-tier patient service and communication skills
