Job descriptionWork in an acute care critical access hospital covering CT and X-ray in ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR settings Patient population includes trauma, stroke, and orthopedic cases Procedures include various CTs, x-rays, CTAs, trauma imaging, and joint studies Equipment includes Siemens 128 slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC c-arm, and Hologic Mini-C Uses EPIC for EMR and McKesson PACS for imaging management 10-hour rotating day / night shifts, including call and holiday coverage as needed Position may require floating to assist with radiology injections / biopsies, with training provided if needed Scheduling is assigned by the department director, with shifts based on department needs Weekend rotation is typically every third or fourth weekend Main duties include performing all CT and x-ray studies, including trauma, stroke, and orthopedic imaging Workload can be busy and demanding, especially with ER and clinic caseloads Director is available during the day and on-call after hours for emergencies Team includes a Radiology RN Monday through Friday for added support Attributes such as strong communication, willingness to learn, and teamwork are highly valued Typically 1 week of department-specific orientation provided Scrub and dress code requirements follow standard radiology protocol Candidates who have worked for CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year are not eligible Minimum of 1 year experience in x-ray and CT imaging Current ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required; ARRT (CT) preferred Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted Experience with surgical C-arm use in emergent cases is required Proficiency in Siemens and GE imaging equipment preferred Two references required : one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months and one supervisor or peer from within the last 3 years Copy of driver’s license is required for consideration Must live at least 50 miles from the facility and not have been employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility in the past year RTO requests must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
