Healthcare Setting : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)\n

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n

Start Date : November 17, 2025\n

End Date : February 14, 2026\n

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks\n

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week\n

Shift : 10-hour day shifts (06 : 30 – 17 : 00)\n

On-Call : One weekday per week, one weekend (Friday-Sunday) every 4 weeks\n

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,280 - $2,450\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Active RN license (Colorado Single State or Compact License required)\n

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (American Heart Association preferred)\n

Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience\n

At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred\n

Ability to circulate in general operating room (OR) settings\n

Willingness to float to other Centura Health locations within 60 miles as needed\n

\n\nCVOR RN Responsibilities\n \n

Collaborate with the surgical healthcare team and patients / families to deliver high-quality patient care\n

Promote patient safety and optimal health outcomes through evidence-based nursing practices\n

Assess and evaluate patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs in the CVOR\n

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, monitoring outcomes and intervening as needed\n

Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection\n

Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and evaluate education effectiveness\n

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care respecting individual preferences and values\n

Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with healthcare policy\n

Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and preceptor for new nurses and nursing students\n

Participate in quality improvement, clinical research, and evidence-based practice initiatives\n

Maintain accurate professional records and pursue ongoing nursing education and skill development\n
