As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control and badge procedures, and interact with tenants and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $19.58 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Sat02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Sun02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support security-related needs at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence. Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials as needed to manage access control. Document observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, visitors, and tenants regarding security-related matters. Follow post orders and client instructions to uphold the security-related standards of the location. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : A valid security guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control systems and / or badge management is preferred. Ability to use a computer or tablet for security-related tasks is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Current CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
