About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role involves a mix of day and night 12-hour shifts, averaging 12 shifts per month, within a NICU at a leading academic institution. Candidates must have at least 2 years of NICU experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide clinical care in a NICUAttend high-risk deliveries and C-sectionsManage 5-10 neonatal patients per dayCollaborate with attending physicians, fellows, and APP team membersParticipate in both day and night coverage as scheduledUtilize Epic EMR for clinical documentationEnsure safe, evidence-based neonatal critical careAdhere to all institutional protocols and guidelinesMaintain required certifications and licensureAdditional Information
Must hold an active Maryland NP licenseRequired certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Board certification in Neonatology requiredMinimum 2 years of recent NICU experience; unable to train on proceduresWill not be responsible for neonatal transportFull subspecialty support available through the hospital's Neonatology teamBenefits
