Spruce Mountain Inn, a residential facility committed to providing a supportive environment for our residents, is seeking a Part-Time / Substitute Chef to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and serve nutritious, balanced meals for residents according to dietary guidelines.
- Plan menus in collaboration with staff and accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Build positive relationships with residents and staff through friendly, respectful service.
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a cook or chef preferred (experience in healthcare or residential settings a plus).Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs, including allergies and special diets.ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).Strong organizational and time-management skills.Compassionate, reliable, and a team player.Why Work at Spruce Mountain Inn?
