MRI Technologist – Full-Time (Weds–Sat, 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM)

Location : Gainesville, FL

We’re working with a well-respected healthcare facility in Gainesville, FL that is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join their imaging team. This is a full-time, weekday-based schedule (Wednesday through Saturday, 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM) – perfect for those looking to enjoy a long weekend every week.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures independently

Operate MRI equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety

Apply critical thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced clinical setting

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and fellow techs for optimal workflow

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited MRI program preferred

ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification preferred, or eligible to sit for certification within 12 months of hire

Prior experience in MRI or Radiology departments strongly preferred

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy a plus

Current BLS certification required

Note : Candidates not currently MRI registered may be asked to complete the MIC "MRI Cross-Trainer" based on experience.
