Cath Lab / IR Technologist – Job Summary

Shift : Days – 5x8s (07 : 30–16 : 00)

Contract Length : 13–20 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Start : Mondays on the unit (Dimensions training completed after start)

❗ RTO Policy : No RTO after booking

Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancel + DNR

Required Skills / Experience

Minimum Experience : 2 years

Traveler Experience : Not required

Job Details

Shift : 07 : 30–16 : 00 (5x8s)

Call Requirements :

Weekday Call : 16 : 00–07 : 30, twice per week for 2 weeks each month

Weekend Call : Fri 16 : 00–Mon 07 : 30, 1 weekend / month

No call the week after a weekend call

Urgent / emergent cardiology & interventional radiology cases

STEMI callback : 30 minutes

IR callback : Based on procedure

Call team = 3 staff (including 1 RN)

Float : None

Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend

Patient Population : Adults & geriatrics

Common Procedures :

Vascular implants (PPM, ICD)

IR / vascular / cardiology / EP procedures (80% IR, 20% other)

Orientation : 40–80 hours
