Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Radiology - MRI Tech Department Details Required Certifications : BLS ARRT (RTR MR) Float / Coverage Areas : Outpatients, Inpatients, and Emergency Department patients Experience / Must-Have Skills : Proficient in operating GE MRI scanners (1.5T 450W and 3T 750W) Knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and standard acquisition sequences Skilled in starting IVs Familiarity with GE platforms and image protocols preferred EMR / PACS : Epic Department Equipment : GE MRI systems RRA / Tech Assistant Support : 1 MRI Tech Assistant per 8-hour shift IV Start Requirement : Yes Shifts & Scheduling : 8-hour shifts 1st Shift : 0600-1430 2nd Shift : 1400-2230 3rd Shift : 2200-0630 Weekend Requirement : 1 weekend per month Holiday Requirement : Possible holiday coverage required Call / Standby : No call or standby requirement Scrub Color / Dress Code : Standard solid-colored scrubs (not provided) Tattoos must be covered Department-Specific Orientation : 1 week, depending on familiarity with GE scanner systems About PRN Healthcare Our story starts with a 21-year-old CNA named Pete Hietpas.
