JOB OVERVIEW Job Title : Nurse Practitioner Specialized / Physician Assistant Specialized Job Type : Locum Tenens Location : Cadillac, Ostego, Grayling , Traverse City - Michigan Service Setting : Inpatient Hospitalist Coverage Type : Clinical Only Coverage Period : ASAP Open Clinical Shift Schedule : TBD; Nights PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics : Adult inpatient population Admissions : Yes Case Mix : General hospitalist cases requiring procedures FACILITY INFORMATION Reason for Coverage : Supplemental Trauma Level : Traverse City level II, Ostego IV, EMR : Cerner Specialty Back up : General surgery, orthopedic surgery, nephrology PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance REQUIRED PROCEDURES (Except Traverse city) Intubation (Night shift) Ventilation management (Night shift) Arterial& Central line placement (Night shift) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses : Active Michigan license required Certifications : ACNP required for Nurse Practitioners Experience : Prior inpatient or hospitalist experience with procedural competency Other Qualifications : Must be available for night shifts and able to travel between credentialed facilities DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient hospitalist care during night shifts Perform critical care procedures including intubations and line placements Support cross-coverage across four Michigan hospitals Deliver independent and team-based care in an acute inpatient setting
