Your Role
You’ll handle substantive cases from the outset, shaping litigation strategy, managing discovery, and preparing for trial—with the backing of a seasoned team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your own docket with support from paralegals and clerksCollaborate with partners on strategy, motions, and trial prepDraft and argue dispositive motions, complex pleadings, and Daubert challengesTake and defend depositions, manage discovery, and prepare privilege logsRepresent clients in state and federal courts—argue motions, assist at trial, and negotiate resolutionsLeverage AI tools, Westlaw, and O’Connor’s to streamline litigation workflowsContribute to firm development through marketing, CLE, and outreachRequirements
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar1–4 years of civil litigation experience, including written discoveryExperience taking or defending at least two depositionsFamiliarity with Texas civil procedure and courtroom practiceTech proficiency (Casepeer, Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat) and interest in AIPreferred
Background in commercial litigationTrial or courtroom experience (first or second chair)Strong communication, initiative, and leadership potentialEntrepreneurial mindset or business development interestBenefits
