Warehouse Manager

Job Full Description

A Manufacturing company in Aurora, IL is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team!!

Pay Rate: $85,000 to $100,000 based from experience.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm (must be flexible for overtime)

Responsible for warehouse management overall including logistics, inbound and outbound appointments, and supervision of warehouse staff in a fast-growing business. Responsible for DOH, inventory control, cycle counts, assist with MRP and supplier management. Reports to the CEO.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree required
• 5-7 years' experience in warehouse, and people management
• Strong SAP experience REQUIRED (expert level for Cycle counter and Material Manager)
• Highly efficient supervisory techniques and skills
• Profound understanding of inventory principles and processes
• Familiar with standard shipping processes
• High level of accuracy and self-dependence
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks under close timelines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel skills) and Outlook
• Computer proficient. Understanding of warehouse software application packages

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all warehouse, receiving and shipping processes
• Supervise the warehouse team
• Responsible for inventory accuracy
• Data entry of receiving and shipping details
• Customer and vendor returns and service exchanges
• Continuous improvement of existing and new processes
• Meet KPIs in terms of on-time shipments
• Compiling shipping documentation needed for freight forwarders and for customer
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
• Works with purchasing team to notify sales/production department of back-orders and shipment delays
• Revises schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, sales, production, or engineering
• Key User SAP with strong experience in Warehousing, Inbound & Outbound, internal logistics
• Internal Meetings
• Communication with customers and forwarders
• Other duties as assigned by Management
• Responsible for execution of inventories at all storage locations
• Definition, modification and optimization of shipping guidelines collaborating closely with other departments (Global Logistics, global SCM, Global Purchasing...)
