System Safety Engineer – Leidos
Leidos has an opening for a System Safety Engineer in our Webster, Texas office supporting the International Space Station Cargo Mission Contract.
The System Safety Engineer will work under the guidance of seasoned professionals, learning how to perform hazard analysis and failure modes analysis associated with mechanisms, structures, materials, operations, mechanical / electrical systems, etc. The Engineer will document the analysis of the results and learn how to identify means of controlling the risks to render them non-credible for ground and flight operations. Additionally, the Engineer will perform integrated bag-level hazard analysis to identify and mitigate hazards created by multiple items being packed together.

Pay Range
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
