Position Overview :
We are seeking a Weld Process Engineer / Robotics Welding Engineer to join our team onsite in Horicon, WI. This role focuses on programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing robotic welding systems in a manufacturing environment while driving quality, cost efficiency, and productivity improvements.
Key Skills & Requirements :
Programming and troubleshooting robotic welding systems (e.g., Fanuc).
Strong knowledge of welding processes, MIG welding, tooling, tool design, quality, TPM, and facilities.
Experience with PDM, SAP, Wplanner / MPM, OMS, and Creo.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels (wage employees, supervisors, managers, engineers).
Experience with process improvements, cost reduction, safety, and ergonomics.
Key Responsibilities :
Investigate welding issues and perform root cause analysis.
Establish routings, pay standards, layouts, weld tooling, weldment costs, OMS, and control plans for new or revised operations.
Identify and implement improvements in cost, quality, safety, and ergonomics.
Design welding cell layouts to optimize material flow and presentation.
Participate in annual factory capacity planning and productivity activities.
Assist in developing baseline data for new wage performance pay plans.
Must-Have :
5+ years of welding engineering or robotics welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
MIG welding expertise.
Robotic welding programming experience (Fanuc preferred).
