A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Counsel / Real Estate Finance Attorney with strong experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, finance, development, and portfolio acquisitions / dispositions. The ideal candidate brings a mix of top-tier law firm training and hands-on experience supporting fast-paced real estate commercial operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and negotiate commercial real estate finance, development, acquisition, and disposition transactions.

Draft and review loan documents, PSAs, joint venture agreements, leases, management agreements, and related deal documents.

Oversee multistate and cross-border portfolio transactions across hospitality, student housing, multifamily, medical office, and mixed-use assets.

Advise clients on deal structure, due diligence, risk management, and strategic business objectives.

Coordinate with lenders, investors, executives, and third parties to drive transactions through closing.

Support corporate operations with contract drafting, compliance, and management of outside counsel (if in-house).

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school; top-tier preferred.

5-8+ years of commercial real estate and finance experience at a national law firm; in-house experience a plus.

Strong drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills.

Ability to handle complex, high-value transactions with precision and business-minded judgment.

Licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, Preferable PA / NJ
