Position Summary

We are seeking a mid-level Network Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST be local to the DMV area, with the flexibility to work from home and the ability to be on-site with clients in Washington, D.C. at least twice a week. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of MEC internal, client networks and systems, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

Systems & Server Administration

• Maintain and upgrade systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Administer VMware, Windows, AWS, MS Azure, Microsoft 365 and Linux / Unix environments.

Directory Services & Security

Network Management

Backup, Recovery & Disaster Preparedness

Application & Infrastructure Support

Data Center Support
