Responsibilities
- Test electrical systems upon shop completion, ensuring operational accuracy and compliance.
- Review and analyze system requirements, defining hardware specifications for electrical components.
- Inspect electrical operations during construction, fabrication, and installation phases.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system errors, recommending repairs or modifications.
- Prepare technical submittals for approval, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Interpret and apply local and federal engineering statutes and regulations, including UL and NEC standards.
- Provide technical assistance to project managers and engineering teams.
- Communicate with project stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve technical concerns.
- Ensure safety protocols and incident reporting procedures are followed, escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Support project management tasks, including documentation and resource coordination.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Extensive knowledge of motor control systems, power distribution, and logic diagrams.Familiarity with software languages and integration processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.Ability to travel overnight (30-40%).Strong attention to detail and communication skills.Additional Information
The pay range is $93,000 - $105,000 per year. This is a fully onsite position in Tinley Park, IL, with an application deadline of May 26, 2025.
