Modular Home Direct is a leader in modern, steel-frame modular construction. We specialize in high-quality modular homes built stronger, faster, and smarter than traditional construction. As demand grows nationwide, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales & Design Consultant to join our in-office team.

Position Overview

We provide everything you need to succeed — from an office workstation (desktop PC with dual monitors) to a dedicated Google Voice line, plus 100+ inbound leads per week. On-the-job training is streamlined and can be completed in just 1–2 days.

This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned sales professionals with a background in real estate, telemarketing, or inside / outside sales who are eager to apply their skills to the booming modular home industry.

Responsibilities

Consult with prospective homebuyers via inbound calls, emails, and in-person meetings.

Present and explain modular home models, pricing structures, and design options.

Read and interpret design layouts, blueprints, and construction documents (training provided).

Collaborate with clients to customize layouts and finishes to suit their needs.

Forecast sales opportunities and track pipeline progress against monthly quotas.

Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Qualifications

5+ years proven experience in real estate, telemarketing, or inside / outside sales.

Track record of closing high-ticket sales ($50K–$200K+).

Strong understanding of modular home construction and setting procedures (preferred).

Knowledge of construction costs, forecasting, and goal setting.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to effectively present to clients both in person and over the phone.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with reading blueprints or interior design / 3D modeling tools (Planner5D, AutoCAD) a plus, but not required.

Compensation

Commission Only : 10% of all sales

Average deal size : $100K–$200K

Sales quota : 1 deal per month

Year 1 average earnings : $150K–$200K+

Flexible schedule options :

Standard 9AM–5PM

Early shift (7AM–3PM)

Extended days with 3-day weekends
