Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 09 / 2025 Duration : 21 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 20 weeks Shift : Nights (4×12 — 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM) Weekly Hours : 36–48 Schedule : Thursday–Sunday Overview Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care in an acute care setting. The clinician will manage ventilators, deliver respiratory therapies, and support neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients requiring advanced airway management. Key Responsibilities Perform respiratory assessments and manage ventilator settings (BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV) Administer aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy (HFNC, trach collar, T-piece) Draw, analyze, and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) Assist with intubations, extubations, bronchoscopies, and airway management Provide care for patients with ARDS, pneumonia, COVID, and tracheostomies Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory care (Bubble CPAP, BIPAP, HFNC) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Emergency, NICU, and Pediatrics units Document all care accurately using Epic EMR Requirements Experience : 2–3 years recent hospital experience Certifications : BLS, State License (MD), RRT or CRT Preferred : ACLS, NRP, PALS Systems : Epic (required) Specialty Experience : NICU preferred (Bubble CPAP, HFNC, or neonatal intubation experience accepted) Travel Experience : Not required Patient Population Neonates | Infants | Pediatrics | Adolescents | Adults | Geriatrics Additional Details Weekend Requirement : Thursday–Sunday Float Requirement : Within scope of practice First-Time Travelers : Accepted About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
