Position Overview
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Thornton, CO . You ll play a vital role in providing quality, efficient, and patient-centered medical care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with best practices for urgent care and occupational health.
Provide respectful, compassionate care aligned with NextCare s mission and values.
Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and next steps.
Document care using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
Code and bill accurately for all services rendered.
Maintain productivity and quality standards consistent with peers and industry benchmarks.
Provide follow-up care as needed and ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications
Required :
Active and unrestricted Colorado medical license
Active DEA license
NCCPA certification (for Physician Assistants) or ANCC / AANP certification (for Nurse Practitioners)
Authorized to treat patients of all ages (Family Nurse Practitioner certification required for NPs)
BLS Certification (active)
Proficiency with EHR systems
Availability for occasional weekends and holidays (schedule varies by site)
Preferred :
Experience in urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in medical clinic
Suturing and initial X-ray interpretation skills
DOT Certification (training available if not currently certified)
Master s degree in relevant field
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Base Pay : $60.00 $80.00 / hour (based on experience)
12-Hour Shifts
