What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Manage a minimum of 30 Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) and Area Sales Managers
  • Develop and foster relationships with referral sources to drive mortgage loan sales
  • Recruit, hire, and train new loan officers while cultivating a sales-focused environment
  • Monitor team production and manage performance improvement plans for underperformers
  • Facilitate the development of business plans with MLOs and hold regular reviews to achieve sales objectives
  • What is Required (Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of residential mortgage sales experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; four-year college degree preferred
  • In‑depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines
  • 3-5 years of mortgage management experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Previous experience with mortgage origination systems and automated decisioning tools
  • Ability to motivate teams and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
  • In‑depth knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong desire to excel in a competitive environment
  • Proven teamwork and customer service skills
