About the Role :
We’re seeking a customer-facing, detail-oriented Field Support Technician to join our team supporting solar site operations. This role involves extensive travel to local Texas solar sites and other states (AZ, NM, AR, MS, WV, MI, KY, TX) to provide technical support, documentation, and communication with on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide basic networking support and assist with enterprise systems.
- Manage ticketing and documentation using ServiceNow and Excel.
- Coordinate schedules via Outlook shared calendars and maintain clear communication with team members and customers.
- Assist with service desk tasks.
- Participate in training in South Florida and follow best practices for security and performance.
Travel Details & Perks :
Heavy travel : Fly out Monday, onsite Tue–Thu, return Thursday; Friday is a flex day.Company card for flights, hotels, and meals; gas reimbursed at IRS rate.Hotel points and flight miles are yours.Initial weeks in Fort Lauderdale for onboarding; introductions supported by senior team member.Requirements :
1–2 years of IT experience with basic networking and ticketing systems .Network+ certification preferred; Palo Alto experience is a plus.Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on the road.Active learner with a collaborative mindset and cultural fit for a dynamic team.
