About The Position

Job Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 4x10 Hours

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : State license required

Certifications : ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Charting experience, preferably with Cerner
• Experience in acute care and long-term acute care

Description :

Position requires a CT / X-Ray combination skill set.

Experience in CT is mandatory; X-Ray only candidates are not accepted.

ARRT-CT is not required, but ARRT-R is accepted.

Candidates with 2 years of experience are preferred.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Weekend requirements may vary depending on staffing needs.

On-call duties are required.

Floating within the scope of practice to meet facility needs is permissible.

Candidates should inquire about block scheduling, though accommodations are not guaranteed.

Local candidates are welcome.

Pending state licenses are accepted; applications should be submitted immediately upon offer acceptance.

No time off is permitted within the first two weeks due to the orientation period.

Time off must be less than a week thereafter.

This is an acute care facility that provides 24-hour emergency care and a full range of medical and surgical services.

The facility has a total of 25 staffed beds.

Dress code allows any scrub color as per the policy.

The daily caseload per technologist is approximately 28.

Technologists must be prepared to handle a variety of imaging studies and procedures.

Call coverage extends from 1900 to 0700 on most nights, and weekend coverage is required on rotation.

Technologists may need to cover more than one weekend per month based on staffing requirements.

Specialized equipment includes advanced CT and X-ray systems.

All applicants must have skills in 3D rendering and other specified imaging techniques.

Interdisciplinary support will include various healthcare professionals and services.

Candidates should be equipped to manage diverse patient demographics and diagnoses.

This role involves collaboration to meet patient care needs and ensure high-quality imaging services.
