About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This role starts on Jan 5, 2026, and spans 130 days, with day shifts available Monday through Friday or a flexible four-day schedule. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of current CVICU experience and be adept at providing advanced post-operative cardiac surgery ICU care.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients in an ICUCollaborate with cardiac surgeons, thoracic surgeons, ICU attendings, and residentsManage a daily census of 4-8 patients, with less than one surgery per day on averagePerform required procedures : central line placement, atrial line placement, chest tube removal, pacer wire removalAdditional Information
Active Ohio nurse practitioner license requiredAcute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification requiredRecent experience working in CVICU strongly preferredBenefits
