Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Physical Therapist Discipline : Therapy Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours Employment Type : Travel Travel : Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Location : Tawas City, MI Start Date : 10 / 13 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks Shift Details : 4–9-hour shifts, 4 hours on Friday. 40-hour guarantee No weekends or holidays No call Position Summary : The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in the outpatient setting, delegating responsibilities to PTAs and aides as appropriate. Care is patient-focused and based on assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in alignment with physical therapy standards, physician orders, and facility policies. Responsibilities : Evaluate patient function through formal / informal testing (skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular). Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance. Document and update treatment plans in coordination with physicians. Schedule and adjust frequency / duration of therapy in collaboration with patients / families. Educate patients and caregivers on conditions, treatment options, prognosis, and interventions.
