Tax Manager

Salary Range : $130,000-$150,000 plus bonus

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns
  • Manage tax planning and compliance for a diverse client base
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client tax matters and strategic guidance
  • Supervise and mentor staff; delegate tasks and provide constructive, timely feedback
  • Conduct technical tax research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities for clients
  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual tax projections
  • Assist with workflow management and recommend process improvements
  • Support firm partners in strategic planning and client relationship development

    • Requirements :

  • CPA certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's in Taxation is a plus)
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience, with a primary focus on tax
  • Solid understanding of federal and state tax regulations for individuals and closely held businesses
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client service skills
  • Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax software
