About the Role
The Hospitality Manager leads and develops a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class guest and member experiences while driving sales ensuring efficient operations and fostering continuous learning. This role upholds DAOUs luxury hospitality standards through exceptional service seamless operations and strategic engagement while providing hands-on leadership on the tasting room floor.
Responsibilities :
The Hospitality Manager (HM) is the frontline site manager for all guest interaction programming and financial deliverables in the following areas :
Guest & Member Experience
Manage the planning and execution of Estate events and collaborate with Wine Club Trade and Marketing teams to deliver best-in-class event experiences that elevate the DAOU brand. This position ensures seamless coordination staffing and guest engagement across all event activities to drive sales and loyalty.
Oversee reservations table flow and space utilization to optimize guest traffic and service quality.
Personalize experiences using guest history and preferences; research VIPs prior to visits.
Build strong relationships with private clients VIPs trade and media to enhance loyalty.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit train and lead a team of 30 hospitality staff.
Provide hands-on leadership and maintain ongoing wine education programs.
Implement standardized training to uphold luxury service standards.
Sales & Financial Performance
Drive revenue growth through wine club sign-ups and engagement strategies.
Monitor sales trends manage costs and adjust tactics to achieve targets.
Collaborate on strategies to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
Operations & Systems
Maintain SOPs and workflows for seamless service.
Oversee facility readiness and calendar alignment with marketing and events.
Manage scheduling payroll staffing and POS / reservation systems.

Pay Transparency Disclosure : The base pay range offered for this position is $77000 to $86000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors including but not limited to candidate qualifications skills experience education location and alignment with market data. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
