Cyber Security Analyst

Overview

Join to apply for the Cyber Security Analyst role at Sonepar USA . The role is based in Hamilton, New Jersey with a hybrid work environment (3 days in the office per week).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from tools like SIEM, EDR, and IDS / IPS to identify and respond to potential threats.
• Support incident investigations using forensic data and telemetry; tune detection rules to reduce false positives.
• Manage vulnerability scans, coordinate remediation efforts, and investigate email-based threats such as phishing.
• Generate reports to track compliance and risk, maintain documentation, and provide regular updates on security posture and incident trends.
• Responsible for initiatives across the Sonepar Americas region, including in-scope countries such as Canada, United States, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and Chile.
