A specialty medical services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Physician to join their staff as their newAddiction Medicine Physician. About the Opportunity : Start Date : ASAP Assignment Length : Ongoing Schedule : Monday to Friday Hours : 7am to 3pm Responsibilities : The Addiction Medicine Physician will be responsible for : Supervising and reviewing the of all medical staff including nurse practitioner and nurses. Evaluating patients clinical history, physical examination, and appropriate lab data. Maintaining registration with DEA, certification as an HIV Care provider Maintaining 25 category education credits in primary care, addition medicine or primary care HIV Collaborating with Clinic Directors on quality improvements efforts at the clinics Performing other duties. as needed Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in an Adult Primary Care role / setting Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York Board Certified in Addiction Medicine Board Certified in Family Practice and / or Internal Medicine Your privacy is important to us.
