Orla is advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We also operate the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources. Orla also operates the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario, a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history and the potential to expand resources and mine life for years to come.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Administration Manager to join our team. The purpose of this role is to create, align and administer site financial policies with organizational business strategy. The Administration Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the Accounting, Warehouse, Procurement, Payroll and IT functional areas for the mine.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with Managers regarding accounting function and changes that may impact their work.
• Work closely with Corporate Accounting to perform financial functions.
• Provide quality control of financial reports. Review monthly statements and analyze variances.
• Respond to financial and general task order inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
• Ensure all data entry documents received are verified and entered in the accounting system based on current data entry procedures and timelines.
• Provide input and support to the development and implementation of new initiatives to improve the accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
• Develop and implement annual financial operating and capital budgets and forecasts that ensure compliance with organizational and strategic expenditure requirements.
• Create the site supply chain strategy.
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of supply chain inventory and records.
• Collaborate with departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
• Develop site procurement policies and procedures.
• Oversee the drafting, negotiation and execution of contracts.
• Ensure proper operations of communication systems, IT and facilities space and systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; and communicating with service providers, ensuring required maintenance, repair and upgrades, as needed.
• Manage relationships between Corporate IT function and site IT contractors.
• Provide leadership and technical direction for team members.
• Set team priorities and departmental goals in support of site objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs and performance analysis to senior management.
• Manage staffing needs and work closely with Human Resources to recruit and retain skilled employees.
