Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers and technical specialists. This role combines team leadership, product innovation, and supplier collaboration with hands-on technical oversight. The ideal candidate will bring strong CAD skills, experience in assembly processes, and the ability to foster innovation while ensuring product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Mentor

Guide and develop a cross-functional team of engineers, drafters, and specialists.

Drive Innovation

Identify opportunities for next- products and integrate new technologies into existing product lines.

Supplier Management

Build and maintain supplier relationships, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvement.

Product Support

Oversee redesigns, troubleshooting, and quality control for current products.

CAD & Design

Use

SolidWorks or OnShape to support design improvements and ensure accuracy in technical projects.

Process Improvement

Enhance assembly and production processes for efficiency and quality.

Collaboration

Act as the engineering liaison with production teams, management, and global suppliers.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all designs, processes, and qualifications meet industry standards.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field

5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or HVAC-related industries.

2+ years in a leadership role with proven team management skills.

Proficiency in SolidWorks or OnShape CAD

Strong understanding of assembly processes and supplier management.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Interest in technology-driven product development and innovation.

Qualifications

Experience in Automotive or HVAC industries

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
