Med / Surg RN Job Details Job Title : Travel Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Seneca, South Carolina 29672 Unit : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg), Surgical Specialty (Non-telemetry) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : November 24, 2025 – End : February 23, 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 – $1730 Weekend Coverage : Required Orientation : 24 hours plus up to 16 hours of reimbursable pre-assignment modules Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license or multistate compact nursing license Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a U.S. hospital At least 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications Proficient Med / Surg nursing skills including IV management, wound care, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, feeding tubes, orthopedic post-op care, and more Ability to float to other qualified nursing units as needed Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Weekend availability required Med / Surg Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care on a busy Medical / Surgical unit Manage a patient assignment of approximately 5 adult patients per shift Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, administer medications, and provide post-surgical care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services Accurately document patient care and interventions in EPIC EMR Float to other hospital units as needed, based on qualifications and competencies Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and complete required educational modules prior to start Ready to take the next step in your travel nursing career?
