Experience : At least 10 years in pediatric critical care; administrative experience is a plus. Interest : A passion for a busy academic clinical practice with opportunities in medical education and research. Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Licensure : Must be able to obtain a Michigan license. Engage in groundbreaking research that shapes pediatric medicine. Access to a wide range of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties. Participate in a collaborative environment with a focus on professional development. Flexible working conditions with shared on-call responsibilities among faculty.

Join Our Team as Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine!
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the lives of children? The Children’s Hospital of Michigan is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Chief of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine . In this pivotal role, you will lead our pediatric medical / surgical, cardiac, and neuro intensive care units, guiding a talented team of intensivists and fellows.
Your Mission :
As the Chief, you will be at the forefront of clinical care, teaching, research, and administrative leadership in a dynamic, high-volume academic medical center. Our division is renowned for its advanced critical care procedures and active participation in significant pediatric research networks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee a division of 16 attending intensivists and 9 critical care fellows .
- Provide exceptional clinical care while mentoring junior faculty and fellows.
- Engage in teaching and research initiatives that shape the future of pediatric medicine.
- Collaborate with other pediatric and surgical specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in administrative roles, including Medical Director positions within the division.
