Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, growth-minded, and committed Senior Technical Program Manager to grow with us. You will be in a crucial leadership role, responsible for the management and execution of multiple advanced SI / PI / EMC programs , working closely with an expert SI / PI / EMC engineering team. This role requires a balance of technical aptitude, business acumen, and exceptional client-facing skills. You will not only manage programs but also help shape our company's growth by ensuring business efficiency and advocating for our innovative solutions while working on bleeding-edge technology .
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead the management and execution of multiple commercial and government programs from initiation to closeout, working with a sense of urgency.
- Serve as a primary internal and external customer interface, managing expectations and fostering productive dialogue with stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplined engineering team assigned to each program, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Develop and manage program plans, schedules, risk assessments, and performance metrics, including the creation of IMS, POAMs, and staffing plans.
- Perform all aspects of Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule / track deliverables and project costs.
- Ensure programs deliver solutions that meet all contractual requirements and customer expectations for technical performance, quality, and cost.
Business Development & Strategy
Lead the development, writing, and submission of high-quality technical and cost proposals / bids for both government and commercial contracts, driving new business growth.Support business development by actively engaging with current and new clients, helping with business forecasting, and attending trade shows (25% travel).Develop and execute on business, solution, and product strategy to ensure the success and growth of one or more programs.Support day-to-day business operations by developing new processes, enabling efficiency enhancements through new tools and automation, and supporting infrastructure enhancements (IT / hardware integrations).Manage program financials, including billing, invoicing, and Purchase Orders (POs), and manage the engineering Software license pool and quarterly refresh.Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).6+ years of experience managing government contracts or programs, including responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.Required Skills & Experience
Program Management Expertise : Full command of Earned Value Management (EVM) , risk management, and schedule control across large-scale programs.Compliance : Demonstrated capability to manage programs requiring strict compliance, including experience in ensuring data security and adherence to Export Control and ITAR requirements.Methodology Mastery : Expertise with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods , adapting processes to the needs of complex engineering engagements.Communication & Collaboration : Exceptional skills in fostering productive dialogue across internal teams and client organizations.Problem-Solving : Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to coax clarity from ambiguity and bring order to complex engagements.Mindset : A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive, coupled with a continuous improvement and learning mindset.Preferred (Technical Aptitude)
A foundational understanding of the Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) fields, including concepts related to high-speed measurement, EM modeling, and advanced packaging designs, to effectively interface with the engineering team.ITAR Requirements
To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
