About the Role
As a CBRE Building Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility in the Santa Clara, CA area. Your responsibilities will include :
- Operating, maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive and predictive maintenance on building equipment.
- Reviewing inspections of building systems to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities.
- Ensuring all systems operate in the most efficient manner.
- Assisting with the implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Responding quickly to emergency situations.
What You'll Need
To excel in this role, you should bring :
Education : High school diploma or GED required.Experience : Minimum of 4 years of commercial experience as a Building Engineer, Assistant / Chief Engineer, or related job.Licenses & Certifications : Universal CFC / EPA 608 certification required. Chiller, CDA (clean dry air), BMS and refrigeration experience is a plus.Skills : Hands-on expertise with building systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ability to lift / carry up to 50 lbs. and work in various physical conditions.What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include :
Maintaining HVAC / R, Chillers, CDA, Boilers, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Maintenance systems.Repairing emergency and preventive repairs to keep facilities running smoothly.Inspecting to ensure compliance with regulations and client expectations for environmental and operational conditions.Supporting technical guidance to team members and managing repair records.Why Join CBRE?
