Job description

Masco Corporation is looking for an experienced HRIS Payroll Lead to join our team in Livonia, MI. This role is focused on supporting and improving our Workday Payroll system. We're looking for someone who understands payroll operations and can translate business needs into effective system solutions. If you're practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with payroll teams, this could be a great fit.

The HRIS Payroll Lead is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of Workday Payroll solutions across the enterprise. This includes configuring and optimizing Workday Payroll to support efficient and compliant payroll operations. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Workday Payroll functionality, you 'll collaborate closely with payroll operations teams to ensure they are equipped with reliable, scalable, and compliant payroll technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, including earnings, deductions, tax setups, and costing allocations
  • Partner with payroll operations and legal teams to ensure system processes align with federal, state, and local compliance requirements
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to coordinate the design, development, and implementation of payroll system enhancements
  • Lead planning and execution of Workday Payroll upgrades and new feature rollouts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 payroll system issues in collaboration with payroll operations and HRIS teams
  • Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards to support payroll operations and compliance
  • Work with internal and external auditors to support audits and maintain documentation

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on Workday payroll experience
  • Experience developing advanced reports in Workday (e.g., custom reports, calculated fields)
  • Proven ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Desire to continuously improve and challenge the status quo
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Workday Pro Certification in U.S. Payroll
  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and operations
  • Passion for continuous learning
  • Working knowledge of HR and Finance processes and functions
  • Practical, analytical approach to task and project management

    Company : Masco Full time Hiring Range : $86,500.00 - $135,850.00 Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and / or skills.
