Attune is a female-led and operated team with 20+ years of experience in the luxury spa industry, and we pride ourselves on building community presence, as well as a team culture that is defined by our core values – integrity, authenticity, support and passion. As patients ourselves, we saw the med spa industry needed disruption. We are rapidly expanding locations across Connecticut and the northeast U.S., with future plans to launch our brand nationally. We are currently seeking an experienced and talented full-time Medical Esthetician to join our team at the Stamford / Greenwich location.

JOB OVERVIEW

As the Attune Medical Esthetician, you will oversee the client's facial aesthetic treatment experience, and work closely with our nursing staff to ensure clients are given the ultimate assessment to feel and look their best. We immerse our estheticians in the world of medical cosmetics paired with integrative wellness, to facilitate ongoing training and development, and create a space for you to grow with Attune. To be successful in this role, you must be inherently passionate about client care, delivering top-notch aesthetic treatments, and always improving your craft. Our ideal candidate is able to independently handle unique client situations, and use upselling skills & personal metrics knowledge to help drive overall spa revenue.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must already have valid CT esthetics license at the time of job application Minimum 3 years working in large scale and / or high-end spa environment Preference for 1 or more years working in med spa, with exposure to aesthetic nursing treatments Minimum 2 years working in a reputable beauty retail environment Direct hands-on experience providing at least 3 of the following aesthetic facial services : HydraFacial, Lymphatic drainage, Chemical peels, LED, or face yoga lifting massage Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility work requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate knowledge of all clinic services, technologies, products, policies / procedure, while effectively communicating them to all clients, employees, and stakeholders Administer all med spa aesthetic services with high level proficiency, completing all necessary competency checks, showing gradual improvement in quality of care, efficient time management, and cross-promotion with nursing staff Demonstrate excellent written communication with all professional correspondence, and impeccable verbal communication with all interactions, especially educating clients to ensure they are comfortable & eager to return Exhibit computer / technical competency during job-specific tasks such as : equipment maintenance & troubleshooting, proficiency with social media, and effective use of EMR client documentation systems Demonstrate high-level customer service with loyalty-building tactics such as : anticipate client needs, understand client preferences, personalize interactions, and respond to client requirements promptly & efficiently Handle customer conflicts with calm professionalism, empathy, strategic problem-solving – escalating to management when necessary, and assist management in creating prevention strategies for improved customer service Build rapport with existing & potential clients by playing an active role in personal promotions, social media efforts, utilizing portfolios of work, and participating in team & spa marketing initiatives such as collaborative content creation Meet and exceed revenue target goals for services, products, and memberships, as well as client target goals for NPS feedback satisfaction, rebooking retention, and repeat requests Stay informed about new aesthetic trends in the spa industry, continually enhance knowledge & skills in treatment delivery & client service, and assist in mentoring / training junior staff when requested Consistently evaluate and optimize the med spa aesthetic treatment offers to enhance the client experience, and be a key influencer by contributing to Attune's reputation and financial growth through collaboration & social media efforts Maintain accurate & current client documentation in compliance with HIPAA, including collaborative team notes on treatment progression / upselling and personalized touch points that help drive repeat hospitality business Always practice punctuality, professional accountability, and consistent dependability with the utmost respect for work schedules, and exhibit overall reliability by accommodating unique client requests whenever able Assist with certain clerical items including but not limited to : inventory maintenance for retail and treatment consumables, tracking equipment maintenance logs, procurement of necessary implements & supplies, etc. Maintain clean workspaces and follow regulated sanitization / safety guidelines for all designated treatment devices
