Description

Under the direction of the Supervisor / Manager and / or Director, this position supports the clinical department with first-line direction of clinical staff and workflow. Responsibilities include assisting internal and external customers in providing patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Board of Vocational Nursing. The role also assists in orientation / training of new employees and participates in the hiring / evaluation process.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program at a vocational school or college.
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years experience as an LVN in an ambulatory or acute care setting; 4 years preferred.
