SUMMARY
The role of an Automotive Sales Associate is to sell automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales. Automotive Sales Associates are also responsible for providing customers with the upmost buying experience and expected to maintain an ongoing relationship with the client post sale.

Responsibilities
Greet and guide customer as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales processAssist the customers to find a vehicle that meets their needs by using the current inventory informationEnhance the sales process by demonstrating the vehicles features on the lotAssist customers in the completion of their sales applicationsAssist management to increase sales by inspecting the lot’s vehicles daily, reporting any problems to managementAssist with sourcing, auctions, and trade for our used vehicle inventoryAssist management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize salesProvide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing dealsDirect report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.Qualifications
Must be driven and have a desire to succeedPrevious automotive sales experience is a PLUSMust have a clean & valid driver’s licenseMust be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employmentEnthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workdayOutgoing and friendly, especially while handling objectionsQuality customer service skills and sales track recordStrong interpersonal and communications, in-person and over the phonePersuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales processProficient in basic business math including percentagesCapable of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programsPersistent, competitive, and good work ethicFocuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales.
